Ghostbusters Reboot

I'm hoping all the mindless sheep dont go and see this and make it 'profitable', it would be nice if this was the nail in the coffin of all these crap reboots, i dont think iver ever seen one and thought "wow that blew the original away!".

Indeed. These reboots that turn out to be a pile of crap, are made for the worst reason, but the only reason that matters to studios.. money. There are probably only a handful that are better, and I guess none of them were made in last 10-15 years. The only one that comes to mind in more recent years, is Ocean's 11 in 2001.

I wouldn't be against reboots if they were made by people with some talent that cared about what they were making; maybe with some different ideas. Even that isn't enough though if the studio has the final word. Robocop 2014, is a remake that could have been much better than it turned out I feel, had Jose Padilha been allowed to carry out the ideas he had for the film. He wasn't and had to do what the studio asked for. He got very frustrated whilst making the film and the result wasn't a good one. I felt sorry for him, and we were robbed of a better film with a lot more interesting ideas.

The franchise was already dead - it didn't need nor did people want more films.

I think you'll find a lot of fans DID want a part three as part 2 was incredibly underwhelming. Nobody wanted a reboot but that's all Hollywood can do these days.

I find it shocking I didn't know Baywatch started in 1989. I never got into it until.... to be honest I'm not even sure. Could have been 92 or 93 and I certainly did not watch it until it ended in 2001.

I remember it up to when Gena Lee Nolan came on. As well as that other blonde in the picture. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096542/?ref_=nm_knf_i2

Remember how hot Yasmine Bleeth was?

Also frightening how Hasselhoff now looks like someones granny.

Oh look, more forced social political commentary about how women in the 21st century are better than Men. I mean come on, they hire the eye candy for the women and make him thick as ****.

That forced racism/sexism commentary too. Oh boy. Feels like he's commentating on the film itself and not the stage dive.

Why are they pushing the racism / sexism undertones so hard? Jesus, why can't the movie just be funny like the old ones?

Because that IS the message of the film, that line was so placed in this film for the feminists to blurt out in the reviews of the film as to why people don't like it.

Strange world to be honest. Is this what bitterness and twisted does to people?

No, I'm saying is this what bitterness and being twisted does to so many of these feminists and all the people that jump on the equality bandwagon that seems to be rife across so many aspects.

It is like shouting endless life is unfair and I hate all of you while I keep banging my drum like a spoilt child.
