I went with matt carbon with black logos. Logos are an extra 10 dollars.

Matt was the right choice. I had some shiny ones and they looked a bit like cheap plastic to be honest. Also, logos are for losers

I didn't want it to look too plain and generic but also didn't want to look like I'm trying to hide they aren't a big brand manufacturer.

Wheels are finally getting delivered tomorrow and built up on Saturday. Due to the wait they changed them from 50mm to 60mm at no cost but customs got me for £36.

To be honest that much of a customs charge isn't a big deal. Pretty standard for Chinese wheels in my experience. Also well below what it could be....

Really tempted by some dt350's 24H straightpull centrelocks... Probably 35mm depth 'do it all' everyday style wheels.

My wheels arrived with a tiny bit of damage where a bit of paint chipped off the hub where it broke through the side of the box in shipping.
You can't see when they are fitted though.
I've fitted new cassette, gp4000's with tubes and some decent carbon pads.
I dont think there is a lot of difference in weight going from a low profile aluminium rim to a 60mm carbon with the dt swiss straight pull hubs.
I did a short 12mile run today with lots of up hills and they felt fine. I forgot to put tape around my front valve so that rattles abit in the rim so will need refitting and some point.
I haven't been hit by a hard side wind but I could tell a tiny bit with the wind I did get that the wheels were deeper.
They feel nice and strong though and are finished perfectly apart from the damage in shipping.
