Gibbo: This, this is what you need.

I think their price is ambitious but if it's history is good which it seems I suspect a few bags could be taken off that price.

The S is basically X50 turbo mods and a options bin final run of limited numbers. Ceramics are massively expensive so worth considering a swap but that is one of the last S models with the proper S model wheels and was a nice colour combination (read safe) so will command top money if genuine and fully history'd.

This will go to 600bhp simply by adding a cup holder and some crisp packets in the door pockets. It will rip your face off and with said tweaks would be a 200mph car at VMax.

GET IT BOUGHT!

A 996 X50 or S is an ideal choice, that car as nice as it is I find simply over-priced, with 997 Turbo's now approaching 50k that is not worth that amount of money, I'd loose bigtime on it.

I think a 2003-2004 X50 or Turbo S with less than 40k miles for the 35-40k region would be a good buy. :)

If I am not doing anything this weekend I plan on going to BMW and Porsche. :)

Gonna test drive M3 DCT, heard a lot of good things, so time to see what I think to it, its got the noise and the V8, see how the rest stacks up. :)

Why don't you buy a very cheap car and then split the rest of your savings between all us poor folk on here? lol :D

Prefer the colour combo on this one, and not having ceramics would be a plus point for me. Also I do prefer the standard turbo alloys to the S ones.

One thing though, the seats in this one look a bit plain/different to the ones in the S posted above, is that right? My folks C4S has the same seats as in the Turbo S posted from what I can see of them in the pics, and they are definitely different to the ones in the grey turbo posted.

Would have thought all the turbos had these 'sportier' looking (no idea if they are any better) seats.
