Not complaining about the price because I know it's fantastic. What would happen in the event of a warranty situation though if I sold the cooler? Would I only need to send the item that is faulty back or would you want everything? Never bought a bundle before.

Yes just send back the faulty item no issue. Get your order 8Pack-ed in and stop yammin Pasties!!

i think i'll be buying the fury aswell now, and 8 pack bundle, nice little system for £750 tbh will pick up the intel ssd and s340. Praying the wife doesn't shot me dead

^^^ any mention of wife's complaining about hardware purchases on this thread will result in a forum ban......... ;-)

The Intel drive is a great choice very robust testing goes into these products and they are readily available.

Those deals started off amazing... and then it got to the 1000 series GPUs, but after that it got better again.

No 1070 will ever be a good deal in my eye, not when a month or two ago we had 980tis for even better prices.

Also, I'm noticing RAM shortages everywhere, both out of stock and priced like it was last year. I heard that for DDR4 it was due to all the new phones using DDR4, thus there's not enough of that to go around. But I've not heard a peep about DDR3. I've not been in the loop since I've been sorting out non-PC stuff in recent weeks. Anyone care to fill me in?

I find myself scanning around more and more for a good price on a 2560x1440 freesync IPS panel (e.g. MG279Q/XF270HU). Is there likely to be any discounting on these over the coming week of deals?

Good luck with that mate. As with all things, look around. I'd stick with OCUK though, since they're very helpful on the somewhat likely chance that something goes wrong with those monitors (dead pixels/backlight bleed).

The MG279Q I bought started off okay but developed very bad backlight bleed within 24 hours. I RMA'ed it via Asus, though OCUK were prepared to sort things out if things didn't go well. I got lucky anmy replacement from Asus works 100% perfect. I'm using it right now XD

I'd expect £450 for the MG279Q to be a good sale price and under £350ish for the Acer. If I remember though, the Acer has less features and smaller FreeSync range.

It would be nice to see the NH-D15 pop up in the bundle also incase some people (me included) don't like the idea of AIO cooling.

Make sure your case has space, cos it sure is bulky. Mine just touches the window, but otherwise it's great. I will say though... thanks to work, I'm feeling ambitious and might want to try out custom water cooling for the fun in the future. But otherwise, I'd always go for a Noctua air cooler. It's a good shout. I can't remember if it was updated for the Skylake motherboards though.
