I know it's somewhat different but the MSI GTX 580 Twin FrozR II/OC 1536MB runs at a standard 1.025 volts with it's latest bios.
Have you checked to see if their is a newer bios on the Gigabyte website?
indeed
If that's the case. Then I may be giving the 580 a body swerve altogether!
Mine came with a newer bios already installed when I recieved mine: NV255MS.122 default mV 1.025, 800/1600/2048 stock clocks.chaparral said:The N580GTX Twin Frozr II/OC is also only set to 962mV voltage....I downloaded and checked every MSI GTX 580 bios and there all the set to the same 962mV voltage....

0.962 is power saving clocks, check the actual clocks on the card, then use kombuster or some other intesive utility the voltage will jump to 1.025, mine is the same.
Post a link to your GPUZ . . . . .I have the same BIOS as you

GPU-Z giving out wrong reading, I reckon MSI Afterburner is correct, mine is the same.StonedPenguin said:Mine's running at 1025 by default (msi twinfrozr), at 800mhz. It came like that out of the box.
GPU-Z says its at 1005, MSI afterburner says its at 1025 (under-load).. I assume its at 1025..?
PS. Guess which is the 580 in the picture below!
