Gigabyte Aero 15 X Gaming Notebook With GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q Graphics

So I’ve been using my Aero 15x V8 for a year haven’t really gamed on it that much as i still need to upgrade the windows to windows 10 pro and also under volt the CPU.

I was playing destiny 2 last night as saw a spark from the intake fans near the screen next to the ac plug and I’m freaking out a bit today.

Is it worth RMA’ing as its still under warranty or go on with the wipe and under volt should that be fine?

The CPU was at 91 degrees Celsius and the GPU was at 71 degrees Celsius.

Today I joined the SSD failure club. Luckily I had a second SSD installed HP EX920 500gb SSD installed as a storage drive so just re-installed Windows to that. Laptop has a 2 year unlimited warranty on it but not going to bother RMAímg for what is a cheap SSD. Have a WD Blue SN550 coming tomorrow as a replacement storage drive.
