Gigabyte cancels P67 programme – moves 100% to Z68

Why is everyone all doom and gloom?

Computer hardware gets upgraded/replaced/improved all the time.

What went before doesn't suddenly become useless and presumably still does what you bought it for.

The Z68 chipset has been on the cards for a long time so anyone who wanted one could have waited.

I suppose the question is are Gigabyte owners going to get a Z68 board to replace their "faulty" P67 boards?

I got my p67a-ud7-b3 about 2 weeks ago. The only thing I'm worried about is that the bios still has issues and they may stop working on improving it when the Z68 boards become mainstream.

For those who have had gigabyte boards before, are they good at continuing to support older boards?
