Gigabyte cancels P67 programme – moves 100% to Z68

i dont know the technicalities of both chipsets, i know certain differences but i dont know what they have in common, my question is could there be a chance of z68 not overclocking as well as p67

I noticed the ASUS P6Z68-V Pro has vga out where as the MSI Z68 GD80 dosent but im not brave enough to take the chance with asus boards with all there problems.

That pretty much sucks to say the boards only came out at the begining of the year jezzz is it me or are Intel and the board makers taking the P*** out of all of us now.

Z68 was always intended to be part of the range & not a replacement for P67, what Gigabyte do or do not do should not reflect badly on Intel or any of their other partners.

Ok thanks im going on holiday for 2 week anyway so when i get back it might be available to buy if not i will just wait.

I have just bought a GIGABYTE GA-PH67, its un opened do you think it would be worth a re-fund so i can get another one or do you think it should be okay to keep? want to get this as close to right first time :)

I'm trying to understand this thread..
So the boards are fine? I'm getting a P67A-UD4-B3 for my new build and I know nothing about the inner workings of these things, except it has the features I need and was reccommended to me over others.. good at OCing and such.

I shouldn't go for something else?

I doubt I will go for the GD80 (unless I win the Easter Egg comp!) so I hope that MSI have some other Z68 boards ready soon, or I may be tempted over to the dark side (Gigabyte that is - Asus have completely blown it with their poor RMA and BIOS problems).
