Gigabyte Xtreme 3090 vbios issue

Thanks you so much for your help. I reset the vbios to F1 using nvflash as you explained then updated to F2 using the program in the downloaded vbios update folder. I now have an F2 vbios that works properly and has resizable bar enabled. I am constantly amazed how much help can be obtained for free from people such as yourself.

You're welcome mate :) enjoy the card now it's working right :).

Now you know if you have a bad flash issue or some strange behaviour after a flash how to go back to a previous bios, as you found out their tools don't allow it.

The second BIOS proved the card was fine and was just a bad bios or flash that caused all your issues.
 
The flash I originally used was from using the Aorus Engine utility to find a European download and used that. It was probably slightly different from the one you pointed me at. Even so, I was using the manufacturers own program that halved its speed - pretty annoying when I paid top dollar for the fastest card out there. Thank you once again for all of your valuable help.
