****Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Review****

I could make a video, but it would be difficult to show the actual mouse movement and the UEFI at the same time.
I thought the uefi was laggy, some options I had to click around 5 times as I said and others I couldn't click at all so I had to press enter instead.
the actual cursor movement was acceptable.
I think my mouse must be in a usb2.0 port because windows keeps saying something about a hub could be faster which I guess is my logitech 1 port mouse hub (basically a logitech branded usb extension cable so I can have the logitech receiver in plain sight

but I wouldn't have thought that would make any difference

EDIT: I'm happy with the board though just not a fan of uefi so I hit f2 any time I'm in the bios and use the old style one

Is this a special offer?

Any affiliation with OCUK you need to declare, should be posted too.

You think hes misleading people by getting them to buy one of the cheaper motherboards? if it were an OCUK sales tactic they would likely use something with larger profit margins.

stulid probably just upgraded his comp , happens to work for ocuk and decided to do a review with no intentions towards anything but giving an honest opinion

Thorough and well written review, with great pictures, thanks for taking the time :)
How do you get such nice shots of the bios screens ? (and they do look very nice over the basic bios).
Does the windows easytune give full cpu voltage control, or is tied to a profile depending on multi ?

To get the BIOS screens you stick a USB stick into the board and press F12 (you can see this mentioned along the bottom of one of the BIOS screens captures) and this saves automatically a PNG to the USB drive.

You have full voltage control by clicking on the box and scrolling up or down to the value you want.

Considering it's just under £110, it's very competitively priced. Motherboard, 3670K, and Ram for around the £350 mark, I think that's very reasonable, considering it's the latest tech.

Good review, just proves a point, you don't need some £300 - £450+ motherboard to get a decent clock with Haswell.

Overclocking used to be so simple.. *cry*

With all these options, it seems like a degree is required just to enter the bloody Bios! :D

Hi Stulid,

I'm pretty new to Overclocking but I fancy trying a modest overclock on this board. If you could guide me through which settings I need to change etc that would be great as I don't have a clue where to even start! Thanks. :D

+1
Not new to OC, but deffo been a while and not since C2D with Intel.
So a guide on what settings do what and which to change, would be most handy ;)

My 4670k is arriving with this mobo on Monday, and will be going straight under water. I don't want to push the envelope, but if I can get a nice 4.2 or so 100% stable with sensible temps, I'll be happy.
