Give me one Good reason to keep splinter Cell Double Agent!

I would get rid of Ninety Nine Nights as well its an aweful game with a terrible story, gameplay and only has save points at the end of every level I think.

So if you think SC DA is frustrating this is just as bad since the levels are long and if you die you have to start again (which happens quite a bit in my experience from the demo and brief plays at a mates).

With double agent I think you can save anywhere? (been months since I played it so not sure) If you're unsure about a certain part just quickly save and try again if u mess up.

going going gone

SAVE Anywhere... Well that would negate all frustration... If I find you are lying however I will be pulling at internet connections and throwing on loads of downloads ;).

Enchanted arms is off the list too.

I've actually heard similar, not sure why its still on my list. I put it on when there was a decent number of people playing MP. I guess no one is playing it MP anymore. So I should really remove it.... done.

Oh I was only joking, its a fantastic game!

Nope you can save anywhere, i think at harder levels you may be limited to like 4/5 saves per level

Right I'm convinced. SCDA has one more night in order to redeem itself (and some faceless grunts are going to get all kinds of punishment)

Hitman however is going back (not becuse its a bad game if bloody brilliant, however I can only play it on Miss Ks 360 (60hz issue) and she doesn't look like she will share for a while.

Speaking of Miss K's 360, she's out tonight, I could play Hitman I guess or even... dare I say it... GRAW2

I still haven't finished it (but haven't played 360 in a couple of months).

I felt the same at the beginning, it was quite confusing, I have all the other games for the PC but haven't finished any of them. I'd stick with it though as it's gets quite good later on. The most annoying part of the game for me is the map system I think, no matter which setting you have it on it's so difficult to read it accurately, and I'm not a woman!

The only thing this game is doing for me is making me mad
Ditto

I really enjoyed the original splinter cell on the xbox and all the other versions I played on the xbox. But this one just makes me uncontrollably mad.
I loved the first one, on the PC. Gave up on Pandora after the second level.

So it can go back at any time and I can get another game that should be less infuriating.
Like GRAW2 :p

Damn right you will!

I got SCDA region free from that other place, couldnt complain for £20 though. Have to admit that i didnt like it much myself at the start, the training bit at the start confused the hell out of me but once i finished that and started the game...i started to enjoy it quite a bit. Its all about stealth ie cant just go running in and shooting everything up. But yeh it can be quite difficult especially on the toughest level. Still have my copy although havent played it for time as i finished the single player mode a while back but i might pick it up again to give it another bash.

BTW stay away from Far Cry and Xmen the game, both absolutely **** games tbh. Far cry is near enough impossible......never have i sworn so much at a game..its ****'ing crap tbh...thank god i got it as part of a 2 games for £35 deal....xmen i wasnt impressed with at all...havent really played it much as been playing GRAW2..well when it doesnt crash my xbox that is :p.

I dont understand peoples problems with the game, I dont think its hard to control at all. Great game, which I played through quite a bit befor I got GOW and need to go back to complete soon.

With this newly discovered save function my complaints should be more or less negated. Sam's controls are a bit off from time to time. I was standing behind this guy looking at a monitor, I went to grapple him and Sam decided to look at a computer instead (3 bloody times) I swear, If I got caught then I may have spontaneously combusted.

I was getting frustrated because either I would make a silly mistake (I admit I am only 99.999% perfect so there is a slight margin for error) Or Sam just would not do what I wanted when I wanted. I then had to proceed to repeat the last 15 min of work I had just done.

In terms of not running in. I absolutely do not. I'm too much of a perfectionist I want to incapacitate (not kill) all my victims and I want 100% stealth. I don't like using projectiles. Which probably adds to the frustration.

Ditto, i dont think i fired more then about 20 bullets in the game, i like to be all sneaky, however when needed the ring foils + zapper dart type things are needed

For the first time ever I agree with you Krono I got to the bit in the first level where you go inside a missle launcher or something. Even with night vision I couldnt see what the hell I was supposed to do.

I really couldnt get into it.

As for your list remove SW lego, it's repetitive pap. LOTR remove, control system will do your head in if you have played RTS on a pc. Battle changes and highlighting units is a ball ache. Just play the pc version. Move R6 and Graw 2 to the top and your sorted :D

Learn to play is my only advice. :p

This was the first Splinter Cell game I played and I thought it was fantastic and didn't really have any issues with it at all.

Not really? I just guess you don't like Lego, Star Wars or fun? :(

I love all three especially SW.

To beat the game you have to play levels over and over til you can do the levels blindfolded. Then just for fun then chuck in a super story mode that means you have to do all 6 levels of a film in one hit, no save point. Which imo is utterly pointless.

If you have the ability to play the game once on rental, laugh and send it back then its funny. To beat the game takes some severe patience especially with all the bugs.

I'm not score whorin' so just beating the game and getting a few "Fun" achievements on top will be fine.

I made the mistake of buying this game. Lost the appeal to play it half way through but still continued to do so to complete it.

Sold it shortly after and didn't even get 20 quid for it :(

Recently completed this game. The screen tearing was a bit annoying, but I lived with it. I also missed the old-style HUD with the light/audio stealth meters. I liked the story though in DA - the fact that cos Fisher is a double agent, the plot revolves more around him. I reckon Chaos Theory is still the best game in the series so far though.
