I use a G19, and the only thing I use the screen for is running
AIDA 64 for monitoring temps and cpu/gpu utilisation

The great thing about that is being able to see all this info on the fly
while gaming, without having to ALT TAB, which alters everything.

Despite the ugly and clunky looks of the Strike, this feature alone
would make me interested as the screen is a lot bigger
(dont need the touch aspect for AIDA)

But you cant run anything on that screen except the widgets
that come with it, apparantly Cyborg are not releasing a SDK
so 3rd Party companies wont be able to write widgets for it.

The Razer Deathstalker on the other hand, will support widgets made by
other companies, so that would be a better choice (for me ;p )

Got a G19 too, before I bought it I thought "omg colour LED think of all the possibilities and the things I'll be able to do with it". Got it and all it's pretty much ever been used for is showing Teamspeak and graphics card info.

How often is one likely to be pressing a tiny screen on their keyboard, and for what purpose?

This is a solution looking for a problem and at £250 it is just ridiculous.

Razer Deathstalker elite keyboard was delivered today.
Keyboard looks very solid keys seem very responsive and smooth.
Oled keys bright and very colourfull, screen does full youtube vids bright and very good viewing angles. also does pinch to zoom and swipe.
has left and right click buttons so windows 8 will run very well i hope.
so far im loving this and glad i got it over the saitek keyboard.
will post some pics up soon.

for that price, it should have a mini coffee machine addon, so you can enjoy a brew while gaming - lets face it, if you got that on your desk then no girl is going to be over to make it for you!

I like the idea but...it's so damn ugly. Looks like cheap plastic and reminds me of a keyboard toy you would buy a 3 year old with shiny lights and farm animal sounds when you push buttons :P
