Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery | Netflix

Not nearly good as a the first, not by a mile, me and the misses were mostly abit disappointed by the first half, got better in the 2nd. I'd give it a not bad, not good score 5/10.

Ed Norton's character reminded me a lot of his role in The Italian Job. He has the same cockiness and arrogance when his plot is foiled and refuses to believe others could outsmart him.

Personally thought the ending spoiled it - there was a decent attempt at layering the story but the ending went a bit too over the top.

Not watched the first one, but the old folks wanted to watch this over xmas.
Really enjoyed it, nice and over the top.

Overall I didn't enjoy this as much as the first which I wonder if that's down to having some expectation whereas the first was a surprise. The over the top ending spoiled it slightly IMO but then again the ending of the first was also a little OTT. But it's still a good film and another round of spot Chekhov's gun and misdirects.

Me and the Mrs really liked it.

I'd probably say 8/10.

Blowing up a house running on a volatile hydrogen seemed like it could have easily killed everyone though.

Repeating my comments from another thread but I tend to not like mysteries (or any film really) where information available to the ‘detective’ (or person that is figuring stuff out) is deliberately withheld from the audience… means you’re misled. Unsatisfying.

This was watchable for the humour but not anything I’d rewatch.

5/10

I enjoyed it, lots of laughs. I find Daniel craigs accent quite funny too. Thought the plot was quite good too tbh. Liked the way how each character had a certain feel (especially the fashion one  ).
