The difference between a trade price and what your offered is known as an over allowance - Ie taking some profit out of the car they're selling to make part ex appear better.
But do the deal and all they do for the paperwork is reduce the price of the car, and reduce what they are offering you part ex but keep balance the same.
Trade price is trade price.
Part ex can be trade price + little profit out of car prospective customer is looking to buy, BUT there is NO guide to dictate that as it is down the dealer.
