Do you guys have to start bickering?

Surprising that El has more or less started it

Go and make another thread about rappers doing cameos with bands and whinge about it there.

This thread is about Glastonbury.

Who is bickering? No one as far as am concerned. May you just wanna make a planet out of a molehill?

I started nothing. Go back and read his statement, i merely pointed/asked the obvious.

What's wrong with saying what i did? Yes this thread is about Glastonbury and guess what, a rapper was on it too! People please grow up and quit been pendatic..... Im out.

lol... So what i said should have been in a new thread when it clearly happened at glasto and this is the glasto thread?

I was discussing and expressing an opinion about a song played at glasto...

You started some little naff bicker by suggesting i should start a new thread about what i said..

and its obviously annoyed you i dont like the rapper cameo's in songs. I just dont like that... I thought it brought nothing to the song, it was as effective as getting a guy on for 30seconds of the song to play a banjo solo

That Arctic Monkeys song with Dizzee Rascal isn't "unheard". I've had it for ages and there's also a different version of it (where Alex only sings the chorus) on Dizzee's new album.

Good because you just came into the thread and trolled as usual.

Grrrrrr! The Glasto coverage is so annoying. Let's go to the Dance Village; here's a crap interview with Norman Cook being a *** and then they only show one act- the ****ing Klaxons!

Oh, and you can download the whole set here. :)

whats that download for? Is it just one band?

As bad as it sounds, The Killers are crap live...Imo of course. It's such a loud clash, and then a little voice trying to sing over the music. You can't make anything out.

I'm not a fan of the Arctic monkeys but they were very good! :)

The Editors were simply fantastic though. :D

Nicely put. I dont mind The Killers' songs, but in my opinion they're so over-rated. Even though it was all the singles i knew on the TV last night i just got bored. Then i was annoyed when i woke up this morning with one of their songs in my head, bah!

Iggy sounded terrible, not that i know any of his stuff. Lily Allen was good (fun songs, she can actually sing a bit too). The Kooks sounded pretty good too. Good call by Colin Murray for playing some of Biffy Clyro; probably one of the most under-rated bands in the country.

Yeah, the singer really needs to work on his voice. Though I'm not a big fan they do have some decent songs but they come over badly live.

I think it might be more to do with the sound settings? Perhaps they should make the singers mic come accross louder than the guitars and drums? I presume that would be possible? The lead guitar that plays the fantastic tunes should be louder than the bass and drums aswell. To me, it just sounds like a big clash of instruments/vocals.

i have to disagree there. you can see the energy he was putting in. where arctic monkeys were just soft, no emotion or even drive. watching a band live is more than hearing every note, if thats the rule i can safely saw the Corrs are the best live band, their set sounds just like the cd. you would think they were miming.

I would say the Killers looked very good last night, ok not perfect sound, but you can hardly call them terrible.

Having seen the Artic Monkeys not so long ago at Liverpool Academy, I gotta say I love them live. I missed them the other night though, anyone got any links to where I can see it? I don't think it would suit them very much if they were more energetic btw, they weren't energetic are anything when I saw them but they bloody well got the crowd going, it was immensely enjoyable.

Did they do 505?

Because that was FULL of emotion when I saw them live also.
