ibiza booked :D £314 each plus about £500-600 spending (in 1/2 board). I'll miss it this year but hopefully will go to the next one.

off to this tommorow - bring on fatboy slim! Apparantly its a 3d show where you get given glasses and it turns all the lights into smiley faces :D Need a serious sleep tonight though im shattered!

Just got back... all I can say is see you there next year!!

Fantastic night out, can't fault the place really. Godskitchen was absolutely ROCKIN!! I started dancing at about 7pm and I didn't move from that tent until 5:00am... I didn't even sit down!! I was the hero in the car on the way home... did the side proud :D

I so wish I went, are well can only look forward to ibiza this time next month :D

my first festival where ive camped and i can see why everyone whos been befor eloves it so much the atomsphere was unreal and its amazing how friendly everyone was to me and my mates

to sum it up friday night was the best night of my life by far and i doubt it will ever be beaten

i was near the front or at the front of the electro tent for the most the time although i did manage to catch the first half hour of groove armada aswell as catching tom neville, the presets and simian mobile disco in the strongbow tent.

seen a fair few other djs but been more into my indie and electro than trance hard house etc i didnt know who they where :/ lol the friday lineup was perfect for my tastes in music i loved eveyr minute of it.

anyways the reason i went to gloabl was for daft punk and OMFG they where AMAZING was about 4/5 rows back :D :D and untill about an hour in when i turned around and seen a gazillion people behind me i didnt realise how lucky id been lol ,

the crowd where going wild chanting for daft punk when we heard theyd been delayed till midnight because groove armada where running behind.

erol alkan AMAZING heard he had tonsilitus but that didnt stop him rocking for a good 2 and a half hours

justice filled in after daft punk where delayed and i think the crowds loved them just as much

took about 80photos............50+ of them are just drunken blurs lmao

gotta go out now but i should have some photos and videos up later.

will definetly go again next year daft punk or no daft punk

Oh, my, god.

Daft Punk were the greatest thing I've seen and heard, ever. The absolute highlight for me by a mile. Andy I might well have been standing next to you! I was just off centre, about 4-5 rows back (although somehow started almost at the front). Their mixing was incredibly flawless, I don't think there were many moments where it was just one track playing, they just blended loads of elements of loads of their tracks, really mashed it up. The visualisations too - absolutely amazing. I don't think I'm ever gonna forget the sight of that huge glowing pyramid.

I might sound like I'm overhyping, but it really was amazing.

Miles better than last year.

Friday night was one of the best ever. Plenty of electro, breaks - then daft punk finished the night of perfectly. If only I hadn't been so mashed that I missed Jeff Mills.

Saturday was excellent too. Joey Negro was good, the Bedrock tent was outrageous - Prydz played a monster set. Fatboy played a wonderful blend of tunes. Solid, solid weekend.

Afer oversleeping for about 8 hours...two word s FATBOY SLIM! totally godlike! Worth the 8 or so years ive waited to see him...and whats better is I was right at the front :D Gods tent was dissapointing to me, the acoustics were pretty bad and it seemed to lack a bit of energy and I have no idea what jules was playing at again. Good people for having the dnb tent loud for once - pendulum were sweet!

been at the front centreish for daft punk i guess i just didnt realise how packed the tent was apart form the im about to get crushed to death feeling when the big curtains opened

theres people on the global forum saying they had to watch from outside

lmao mks2005 exact same thing happened to me i was at the very front centre during justices first set but as i turned around talking to someone while daft punk was about to start i managed to get pushed back about 5 rows DOH

jules is often pants imo i seen him a few weeks ago and it was nothing special either :/

imageshack url resizer and a camera phone operated by a drunken idiot make baby jesus cry

Well this time he caused a power cut, and then played the same tune twice and did some VERY amateur scratching. Daft punk looked cool - I only went for the sat though

Didn't help that the God's tent was absolutely shafted sound-wise. No bass and weak midrange. Utterly unlistenable. Defected tent wasn't great either.

Best sound was in Bedrock :D Fatboy's set could have been better if there'd been more treble!
