GMail/Google Mail themes

Be VERY nice is Google could get the iGoogle and Gmail themes into sync to provide cohesion between the two

It's in settings, but I had a big yellow banner appear this morning above my inbox telling me about it. Have a look in settings for 'themes'

I've still not got it.

Out of curiosity would it be anything so simple as it propagating down through the alphabet?

Possible but unlikely, they may apply the updates on a database by database basis, or any number of other basis'. Have you checked Settings > Themes?

Are you definately using the 'new gmail'? I.e. is there an 'old gmail' link up the top?

I'm using the new ver & no Themes setting

Yep, I use the newest GMail offered to me, yes I've checked settings=>themes, it's just not enabled for me yet.

PS: Isn't the plural 'bases'?

It could be alphabetical if that is how the databases are structured. It's a likelyhood I suppose.

Well, I'll be in the R's so if any Q's have got it please let me know!

I signed up with the original beta.

My email address is @gmail.com and it also begins with an R.

I can switch to "Older version" but have no THEMES in my settings. My GMail Icon in the top left also says Google Mail beta still.

i was on the early beta and got my full name @gmail.com starting with jimmy and have had the theme since last night, i don't like any of them, but LOVE Gmail.... it really does rock! i can't recall a spam msg making my inbox in the last 12 months!

The best thing about gmail atm for me has to be the built in messaging system and web/voice cam going on atm

I can chat to my GF at work now
