Need "Both" option in poll.

I used yahoo and hotmail in the early days and used gmail when it came in beta form. I slowly moved away from hotmail as the spam seemed to be increasing by a crazy amount. I still occasionally use hotmail but I'm a gmail man now since it works great with my phone too :)

GMail with custom domain. I cut my teeth on Hotmail but GMail is just better (or at least was until very recently) and the GMail integration in Android is very good.

Windows Live Mail

In here I have a gmail account, hotmail account, live account, uni account and isp account.

Get all my emails all in one place, bish bash bosh done.

If I was employing somone and I was stuck between 2 identical applicants, 1 has a Gmail address and the other has a Hotmail address. I know who I would choose :D

You guys are going to have to change your tune, not only has hotmail been massively updated. We now have windows hone, windows8 and skydrive which are all based on windows live integration.

That's a pretty ridiculous statement to make. How on earth has that got anything to do with what type of person the applicant is and how good they're going to be at their job?

I was thinking the same, you shouldnt be close to a position for looking at applicants if thats your thinking.

Whenever I see a hotmail address, I immediately think "spam". Maybe it's improved since I last used it, but that's what I'll always associate hotmail with.

I think it depends on the job. In my industry (design) most people have a fair bit of technical know-how, and Hotmail has traditionally been associated with teenagers and old people. Whilst I don't think you can discriminate on the basis of email address, I don't think having a well respected domain can hurt.

Hotmail. At the end of the day, like all other @ addresses it's just an email client. Back in the day when places were based on storage then it mattered but now only personal preference separates email clients. Hotmail has came along a good bit recently. Skydrive is nifty and everything works.

If I wanted to be a snob i'd use my own domain email but to be honest "Insert email provider here" works fine.
