Go to PSU brands for 1000w or 1200w?

I've currently got fitted a 750w Seasonic prime ultra 80+ Gold in my system which was purchased at the start of 2019.
When I first installed it, I thought it was my Vega 56 that had coil whine but upgraded to a 3080 in 2020 and exact same. It's now doing my head in after 6 years of ownership so looking to change it out. Especially with new cards on the horizon and the upgrade temptations coming along with the PSU aging away.

I know you can most likely run a 4090/5090 easily off an 850w PSU but would likely go a step up to 1000w (Just if I decide to go that high end of a card)

Who are the go to brands? Seasonic still? Ideally would like the latest standard (ATX 3.1 PCIe 5.1).

Edit to add my current setup:

5800X3D X570 motherboard
32gb RAM
3080 FE 10Gb
2 x SSD
1 x M2 drive
10 x system fans

Edit again: Been eyeballing a Seasonic Vertex but maybe overkill as I believe they are platinum?

£154 gets you the new CORSAIR RMx RM1000x Gold PCIe 5.1 PSU/Power ATX3.1
I was originally looking at that PSU however with a flurry of recent posts when reading up on it and them going pop, People are querying if they have dropped their QC or quality recently.
But like everything else, You mainly only hear the negative on the internet, Never the good.

Unlucky, did you change it for something else ?
No still looking going to get another seasonic i think just looking around as stock short at momentbeen reading around and it looks like the 3.0 versions are actually better psu just the nvidia cable connector isn't the latest version

True .

I think it's best to look at what's really important to you and check review ,I've never had a psu noiser than a GPU but I'm a gamer .

Let's us know what you get.

I shall do.
I'm a gamer also can occassionally hear the PSU through the open back headphones. Even doing certain tasks when not gaming that cause the GPU to ramp up slightly gives off a chirp.

You can get the Thermaltake Toughpower GEN 5 GF3 1350 for £160 , reviews quite well but a bit noisy in some reviews.

Be quiet dark power are usually excellent for low noise.

Just to throw another in the mix for £170

read the customer reviews on Overclockers.

Thanks, I had a look at that one also. As mentioned in the other thread, need to decide if atx 3.0 to 3.1 is any significant difference. I'm guessing not really and from other comments I've heard that 3.0 may be more beneficial.

I generally hear very positive things about Seasonic PSUs. This range is ATX 3.0, right?
I've had a Seasonic PSU in my build for 6 years but as mentioned in my first post, the coil whine is pretty annoying at times when the GPU gets involved.
It states ATX 3.0 here but if you go on their website, I believe they show as 3.1. From my reading about the differences, it would appear 3.0 is better.
