well i did the install for her parents and they were totaly happy with it all.
they have passed my name to others they know and already iv 3 more installs to do through them.
i must admit i was weary when i approched her parents but they were such nice people.
i was there nearly 5hrs doing the install cos what started off as 4 rooms turned into 6 rooms,but they made me egg,bacon and tomato sandwiches which i realy appreciated.
i know this may sound corney but its all true and i hope this never happens again to me.
i realy appreciate the help some of you gave me and by the way i did recive the cheque from the woman.

It could be worse, you could have finished the parents install and found them in the nude offering you "alternative" payment as well :D

Seriously though, I'd just be glad that your wife/daughters were fine and that you're obviously doing good quality work to get so many recommendations!

I wouldve hit it, unless like yourself married or had a gf.

If i did, would have told them if they can't laugh about it, I wouldn't be with them tbh.
 
well ere we go again, she has rang me to do some more work in her house and i said iam booked up for the next 3 weeks.
she said no problem i can wait,i told my wife and she said dont worry its nothing just do your job.
i realy dont want to do the job because i will feel so embaresd so what the hell do i do.
i have told her i will check the bookings and ring her back.

if youre self employed an really dont want to work there then just tell her that due to her behaviour last time you feel it would be inapropriate for you to do the job

if you work for someone else then explain to them the exact same thing
no need for lies or excuses
