God of War 3 to be the most graphically advanced game on the PS3

This is going to have to live upto its expectations, Im sick of games in 2008 being talked about by everyone as being a really good game and it being as disappointing as aladin on the ps1. Its like Too human on the 360 its been in production over 10 years was meant to be okay until E3 and its been slated before its even been released, company's sometimes get that much hype they could go backwards. Would be funny if they do this to GOW. GOW 1 and 2 were amazing so I also have high expectations for GOW 3 I just hope sony dont mess around with it that much that they mess it up totally for everyone. Once again another sony ps3 game getting a release date HA no such thing with big games from sony. Ive learnt this working in a game shop since the ps3 launched every big hit game they release they wait and re-work on it and wait some more giving silly excuses not to sell it yet. Maybe some of the reasons are okay but its still a thing of trust from sony to there consumers and some of my trust to sony starting to go away. I own a 360 and a ps3 couldnt wait for gt5 when I heard about it but look at that now its been pushed back a couple of times since I heard news of it coming out.

Christmas 09 is the scheduled release date. I'd say march 2010 is more likely.

I wouldn't say MGS4 was the best game out this generation. Might just make it into the top 5 for me.

No way in hell would God of War 2 look as good as Resistance and Perfect Dark Zero, not sure about the others as I've not seen them.
A higher resolution can only do so much.
Have you played God of War 2 on your own television?
It looks good, yes but it's still blurry and jaggy, even on my old BC PS3 upscaled.
This was with the PS smoothing options on and stuff, didn't seem to make a difference though.
No what I meant was it looks much better in screenshots off the internet than it does on a television in real life.
Heck, I was playing it on a 19" back then, I can't imagine how much worse it'd look on my 37".

I recently bought God of War II specifically to play on my PS3, as I'd never played it before, and after enjoying the PSP game so much, and being impressed with its graphics, I thought I'd give it a try.
Playing it on my telly, upscaled to 1080p, it does look pretty frightful
Jaggy as hell, and in no way bears any resemblence to any PS3 title I've played. I'm sure it would've looked a lot better on my old 28" Wega, but of course graphics aren't everything, and it's still fantastic fun to play. I'm enjoying it, but the graphics did come as a bit of a shock.
