Going in the shower?

Now I know that it isn't crime of the century but I thought doing this was naughty, main reason being drainwater and sewage shouldn't be mixed as they're treated in different ways at the water works.

Or is this just a Norfolk thing?

All waste from toilets, showers, baths, sinks etc goes into the sewage. I think you are getting confused with surface drainage

No. That doesn't happen. Unless you've got some kind of weird grey water system installed in your house.

I always pee in the shower. The sweat that comes off you is mankier than urine, anyway.

they're not asking you to take a dump in the shower.... really don't see the issue

Erm, All drain water from the "house" is treated as sewerage. (It all goes down the same pipe after all) I think you are confusing the issue with rain water (From gutters etc) which shouldn't end up in the sewers.

Peeing in the shower is just fine!

It is Peeing in the Bath that is disgusting!

(Also, bear in mind, Unless you are actually harbouring an infection "Fresh" urine is actually a sterile fluid. It makes for a pretty good emergency cleansing fluid for treating battlefield wounds etc it only gets nasty after it is exposed to the air)
