Going to buy AV NOD32 or Kaspersky

I used that code a while back and posted it and all was well :)

I chose the 2yr 3pc option was around 28 quid i think

Always liked kaspersky so i'm biased so won't add my 2c worth lol
 
KIS8 makes it more awkward to define custom rules for the firewall. I'm finding it annoying and prefer the KIS7 method. That said it's still the one I prefer.
 
both apps are well regarded

i havent used Nod since v2.7 so cant comment on a user expericence of the latest version, thou v2.7 was very light on the system

Kaspersky i have updated to V8 ie 2009 and it appears to be a very good suite its appears lighter then v7 i dont notice any or much of a performance hit, has great detection rates and good proactive defense also has a HIPS system, on the whole its one of the better Internet security progs i have used
 
I'm using Kaspersky, and am finding it pretty resource heavy-nag screens are a pain too. Then again, I got it free with Barclays so am not too upset!

From what I've heard, though, if I had had to buy I would have gone with NOD though. Just went with Kaspersky as I got it free!
 
Nod32 hands down, used it for 4 years now.. excellent AV, after you use it for so long there's no going back.. all the others seem poor compared.
