Going to my girlfriends 6th year prom.

Mines soon as well i had a panic last night about my dress and whether it will still fit me :(. Getting my hair cut instead of put up since its bloody expensive either way. Your girlfriend is very lucky, i'm basically going on my own as it's our year only that are invited. Have fun :)
 
We had to pay £45 for ours and only about 4 out of 100 people didnt want to go. Girlfriends and boyfriends aren't invited but a lot of the teachers bought tickets and are coming. I'm not sure whether my boyfriend would have wanted to come anyway other than the fact he works weekends and lives in Manchester making it slightly difficult.
 
pah, leavers balls eh?

At my school we have a leavers ball (I leave next year) and I found out that they want £50 for a ticket!!

Our school is a public one so you gotta pay out the ass to attend there anyway, its 4 grand a term.

So the average pupil there would have spent 60,000 on coming to the school, and yet at the end of your time, they can't spend £50 on giving you a nice farewell?

I for sure am not going next year.
