Going to my lectures

Sit in front of her a few rows down and every now and then just turn around, stare right through her and point at something just above her head...

Mate I wish I knew what the story was from her pespective even if it doesn't tally up to mine, because I am fairly sure there was something happening with her that I didn't know about that would explain it. Otherwise she is just messed up completely and she didn't really seem like that up until she decided she liked me.

But why even wonder what's going on in her head. You'll spend a lifetime trying to work that one out with women. And still fail.

Stop worrying about what she is doing and worry about what you *aren't* doing. Going to lectures.

Just bite the bullet and go to the next one. Doesn't matter if you can't concentrate or even have a panic attack. It'll be a lot easier the second time, and the time after that.

if you **** up your degree because of one girl you'll regret it for the rest of your life.

in a few years (if not less) you won't even care about her at all anyway. hardly worth fudging your career for...

Just to mention, there was a gay person in our flat of 8 people who used to never turn up to lectures because he had to cross a railway bridge, the bridge being high and fully exposed to the wind - he said "It messes up his hair every morning"...

Just think this is a very similar situation for not turning up to lectures. :D

What the hell are you at university for? Hopefully an education and an interest in the subject, so go to your lectures and learn, and dont give a monkey's bucket who else is there!

Get one of these.

Face your fears, go sit next to her then she won't stare at you or sit behind her. Alternatively quit Uni go on the Dole and everyone at OcUK will finance you in your bummed out education.

Basically its just a girl...they only have coodies.

MOT.

I'm stunned that this girl still has such a huge hold over you, I thought you'd be well past this by now.
Do you not see that this is in fact a perfect opportunity to get over her once and for all? All you need to do is go to these lectures, get on with your work and ignore her completely. That's it, it's so simple.

Do NOT put your education in jeopordy.....just IGNORE her.

I didn't do anything!

She was my closest friend and then told me she had fallen for me. We kept going out places and doing stuff then one day she told me to leave without any explanation when moments before she had been going on about being in love.

2 days later she told me she just wanted to be friends. The next day she said that none of it was serious and she was just joking the whole time. The day after that she never wanted to speak to me again. 2 Days after that she missed me and was really upset about messing me about and then a day later it was all a joke and she went back to never wanting to speak to me again. So I lost my rag and told her to shove it.

You are throwing a module away over that? :/

Mate, you didn't do anything, she mucked it all up, she's the one that ought to be feeling *****, ignore her, get on with your life, if she has a problem...well guess what, it's her problem, not yours :p

If she gives you grief, ignore her, or punch her in the ovaries ;) For added effect, get a gf, and snog her in front of your ex-friend outside the lecture

I wish, because I still like her.

I'm afraid of her because I know that she is pretty much the only person in the world that can hurt me. I have never cared about what anyone else thinks of me apart from her, so she has a lot of power.

You cant help how you feel about her, you can however control how she affects you. She has power over you because you allow her to. It can be a hard lesson to learn, but others only have as much power over us as we want them to, whether thats due to us respecting their opinion, wanting to be like them or simply wanting to be with them.

Once you realise why you value her opinion so much, you can put that into some form of perspective & realise these issues really dont amount to a hill of beans. Good luck fella, hope it works out one way or another, but don't let it get in the way of your education if you can help it.

[OBLIGATORY]
Punch her in the ovaries then nuke it from orbit tbh
[/OBLIGATORY]

On a more serious note, just get on with it, as all the others have said so far, its not worth failing a module over.
