Going to see the Isle of Man TT

I'm currently learning the hard way that I should have organised earlier!

5 of us have a deposit on ferry ticket including bikes and supposed to be going Jun 2nd-10th but can't find a place to stay at the moment.

Really don't fancy camping for 8 nights. Been phoning and emailing every homestay and keeping an eye on the IOM TT forum.

Anyone from the IOM want to put us up? 5 polite and tidy guys

We're going for practice week this year in the car, as the son is coming. Booked it before last years TT and got perfect ferry times/dates. Just under £500 for car + two adults and child. We're camping too - its always a laugh.

Was going to go last year, but due to going travelling this year I was saving and it was going to cost a good £200+ for the ferry, food, accommodation etc.

Can't go this year as I'll be roaming about in another country somewhere.

Definitely want to try for 2014, hopefully Guy Martin will be there, would love to see him race

Thanks for posting this thread as the TT & the NW200 are on my todo list but I didn't realise I'd have to arrange/book so far in advance.

I'm going again this year and taking my 14 year old son. Taking the GS and camping if the weather is nice, but lived there for 5 years so have mates we can crash with if the weather is like last year!
