Announced today, the N64 classic Goldeneye is finally being released on modern consoles. Rare are also including online multiplayer. Hopefully we can get the OcUK community together for some nostalgia fueled matches.

Anyone got any fond memories of the game or multiplayer?

Loved Goldeneye back in the day, Facility with proximity mines was class.
If this is as good as the leaked Xbox Live Remaster was then this should be great on Xbox - I assume the Switch Version is literally just the N64 version?

No PC version though, I might actually pickup a Series X again at some point to play this!

Probably but having played the Xbox Live Arcade "leak" with updated Graphics/Controls it was a brilliant nostalgic hit

I hope it comes to the PC not just the console! this would be ******* epic! Especially if it was GOG multi player!

Loved playing this in the day! Hopefully they make the spawn points random because when you play facility and you see where someone dies, they're screwed.

I played this with friends in my parents garage. We had 2 TVs and 2 N64s and 8 of us would cram in the garage and play this for hours. We had an upper tier, lower tier and the winner / loser of each would swap places.

fun times.

Luckily, the electric back then was cheaper!

4 player local mp on this game is right up there with my favourite mp experiences. i loved the proximity mines!

I think they're still there, just search ge64 and there's loads of copies where the maps are the same but objectives are different. Good Times!
