No online multi-player for the Xbox Version apparantly
Can you not use the system link function and xlink for LAN over the internet?

Playing the n64 now wouldn't cost much either today. Have you seen the power consumption? 19 watts..
How much was a crt?
19" 100 watt lol but about 45 watt on a lcd if you get a converter.
The heat that came of mine as a kid, I'm sure it was more than a 100W. Ha.
The leaked remaster was brilliant, really looking forward to a 4k version to get stuck into. I'm not sure about the Switch version, wondering if online will be similar to their emulation services, which doesn't include matchmaking (from what I understand).Loved Goldeneye back in the day, Facility with proximity mines was class.
If this is as good as the leaked Xbox Live Remaster was then this should be great on Xbox - I assume the Switch Version is literally just the N64 version?
No PC version though, I might actually pickup a Series X again at some point to play this!
I've just seen this, really sucks. I hope they implement a system later down the line. The original XBLA version was supposed to include online, seems like a really big omission here.No online multi-player for the Xbox Version apparantly
The leaked version was really good...wouldn't be surprised if we just see that released given it was a complete. Worth checking out if you havent already.
This is possibly the best news of all time The N64 game was the original and the best FPS and so so much fun with friends.
Learning the spawn points order and decimating someone for it with prox mines was legendary.
Would love to get my son into this on switch, playing without the joystick will be weird though.
Yep agreed. Was cutting edge and amazing at the time but best left in the past I think. Great if people can still enjoy it but not for me.Was great in the day but playing it again now tbh it’s crap compared to modern stuff.
I think for a lot of people this was their introduction to console FPS. It had amazing splitscreen multiplayer, so most will have fond memories. Sure it hasn't aged well on original hardware on modern displays but that is an N64 issue with blur filters. You can achieve a good image with console mods and upscalers. However, the XBLA leak was a really good way to bring it to modern consoles, graphics had been re-worked for HD and control scheme was modern. If it is anything like that, which it likely will be, this will be great.Never understood the hype for this game. I spent more time playing Quake and Unreal on my PC than playing Goldeneye on my N64.
