I enjoyed S1 quite a lot. it's not a great series by any means, but BBT is always awesome, and the supporting cast was decent. The villain was a bit cartoony.

S2 was pretty much garbage, though. Enjoyed it less and less as it went on. The villains were even more ridiculous than S1, utterly one-dimensional and unnecessarily OTT evil. And not enough BBT doing his charismatic court room shtick.

I don't recall BBT even stepping into a courtroom in S2, most we got was Judge's chambers?

Yeah, there was a pre-hearing bit in a courtroom, with the young lad, but no proper case.

Just checked Rotten Tomatoes. S2 has a slightly higher critic score than S1 (83% vs 78%), but the audience score is miles lower (52% vs 91%), which stacks up to my feeling on it.
