good cathodes? - red ones :/

what about optx by streetglow they make a red cathod tube now that has to be good as its from street glow am i correct

The Streetglow Ones I have are red and work quite well, though I have to say the 6" & 3" ones are definately brighter than the 9" or 12" ones

I have actually disconnected them now (can't remember why) and can't be bothered to wire them up again.......probably growing up

Trouble with the Red is that it always looks Pink!,unless you do like i did,get yourself to a Florists,and grab some of that plastic they wrap bunches in (Red obviously),best place is a good quality Florist,because they use the good stuff, grab yourself a sharp blade,cut a strip so that it wraps around the Cathode,a strip of tape,Viola!,a deep Red glow.And if you take your time,no one would ever know.Trust me,it works a treat
