Good Gaming Case

A generic list for you here:

Antec LANboy
Antec P180
Akasa Eclipse 62
Lian Li PC7+

I think even the Lian Li V1000+ makes a very lovely gaming rig case.

The dragon is a vile case IMO. If you're after something that bad, you could also look into the Vento. :p

The eclipse is lovely for a gaming case IMO.

Nix's favourite case run down (say this in a TOTPs voice ;)):

In at number three it's the v1000+! A totally unique case with the all-round brilliance of Lian-Li thrown in.

Debuting at number two, it's the Akasa Eclipse 62. A stunning unique case, well built and fantastic cooling. If it was silver, it might just make number one next week!

In at number one, it's the PC-7+! Cheap, robust and sex-y!

Eclipse
Lian Li PC7*
V300 for mATX
Gigabyte aurora*
Super lanboy*

etc. there are endless cases better than that one. If you are on a tight budget then the Akasa zen is alright too.

* = I own these cases myself

Yup, was a £80 case. In gaming case terms your looking at a £300 one to match it.

Gaming cases = overpriced usually.

The cases I would personally be considering if your after a gaming case are the Thermaltakes, best gaming cases about + Lanboy period.

PC7+, Super Lanboy, Akasa Zen all cheap and all very good.

The Zen is the worst of the cases, although today I am finding out something that may make everyone rush out to buy them. ;)

Please tell :)

Ok well, the fans have the same mould as the Ambers, the blades have the same texture as the ambers, they use the same screws and cable as Ambers.... Just got to work out if its exactly the same motor as Ambers.

Should know within a couple of hours, but if the £30 Zen comes with £20 worth of fans, that makes the PC7+ seem a bad buy for a low noise PC.

Not proved this theory yet, but from the look of the fans it would seem to be this way.

Uncanny Amber resemblance.

Fan CFM and DB mean absolutely nothing.

100CFM 14db 80mm fan by Thermaltake, yup! :D

(and it was not 100CFM, and certainly not 14db!)

The bearings however can make a difference!

Not gotten chance to try them yet, on my 200th conversation on msn of the afternoon. :(

Wtf are "gaming cases" anyway? I've look on some competitors site's and everything they classify as a "gaming case" appears to be something you'd never be caught dead owning!

Check out the "Sansun Bat" for an example, it's only one short step from them god awful Nokia/Ferrari/Mercedes cases.
