Good Gaming Case

Wtf are "gaming cases" anyway? I've look on some competitors site's and everything they classify as a "gaming case" appears to be something you'd never be caught dead owning!

Check out the "Sansun Bat" for an example, it's only one short step from them god awful Nokia/Ferrari/Mercedes cases.

Yet they outsell Lian Li cases, and are the reason ATCs and Windy are no longer with us.

Young kids, and people who act like them go for these things. The value from a giant cheap plastic front V a all aluminium one is just a no brainer, yet the plastic usually costs several times more.

I was asking a couple of young fellers about the spec of their machines at a local lan about a year ago, one of them was all chuffed over his 'competitor case', I almost felt like telling him it was actually a cheap Raidmax copy, that everyone knew and that everyone was laughing at it .. but I resisted. One of them was actually offered as a prize! (stating it's value was around £85!)

Its value would be £85, the fact the Zen I got for £30 has every chance to match it for build and performance is by the by.

Thermaltake do make some good cases, and you can get great gaming cases from other people.

But the huge amount of cheap coke can cases with an alien whacked on the front, or a 200000mm fan that pushes rubbish air at high volume on cases now gets to me a bit. Overpriced gimmicy crap.

I don't think I've ever owned a Thermaltake I liked, they just lack that quality feel.

Agreed.

But they certainly are not bad cases, old ones yes, the newer generation are actually quite good, the Eureka bar the side panel is a very nice looking case in my opinion.

By far the best gaming brand. Copy everyone elses ideas, to many features per case that people never use, but still, the best gaming brand.

The bearings however can make a difference!

and here lies the truth

Btw - your doing a great job Yewen - if you weren't people wouldn't ask your advise. Walk away from the PC and make yourself a drink, your 2000th and one msn'er not going to mind.

From a business point of view it makes sence to reused an expensive injection molds for multipul products, just changeing the 'inerds' to suit budget/proformance.

all in all still good new for the buyer

Thermaltake VB5001SNA Tai-Chi SuperMidi Tower - Aluminium (CA-003-TT) is this case good

You've had more than one recommendation for a range of cases now, but you insist on picking more crap! If you're going to ask for advice you'd do well to listen to it.
