Need a new car asap, seems the 2nd market is just silly atm, so I've been looking at leasing.
found a Corsa 1.2T SRI 130BHP automatic for £227 per month 8k miles no deposit/brokers fee and 1years free insurance.
Your other option would be to cycle. At least that would be quicker than a Corsa.

There's plenty of 2nd hand cars out there, spending £227 isn't great value.

used car price are up approx 29% on this time last year, and that spec Corsa is 0-60 in 8s

I've gone with leasing a 308e Allure premium 1+48 @ £304pm. Ordered it in March currently estimated September. Been delayed twice.

Replacing an octqvia vrs at 285pm + £60-70 fuel pm

Will be taking advantage of free charging at work.

what's the annual mileage on the 308e Allure ? £70pm fuel sounds like 200miles / month

I think leasing maybe better than pcp atm as a precaution against inflation, pcp GFV will be devalued by inflation, so the future collateral is questionable ,
In 3 years semiconductor shortage+ukraine will be over, manufacturing capacity increased, and manufacturers trying to sell ev's to avoid penalties, that'll stem the inflation beating rises in used & new cars we see now, too.

( ... albeit article is not considering inflation )
