downloaded it last night. I loved the game. Up until T4 it was the best PvP then it just turned into a giant clusterfluff.

had a look around and it seemed dead though, next to no chat, empty group lists, the public events dont work which were a bit of fun in the original. Not sure how old this is but if its new then fingers crossed it gets a bit more populated. it was a lot of fun back in the day.

pvp would have been fine if it wasn't for the stupid tickets being as retarded as they were.~

some classes having ridiculous abilities like being able to drag a whole raid towards them for mass aoe etc.
server balance was atrocious on whatever server I was on we were always out numbred 2:1 or 3:1

war died because the balance wasn't sorted in beta

Its capped at level20 so apart from alts everyone is in T2. In Tier1 there's usually some activity around the chaos/empire warcamps near the rvr zones but as a rule of thumb questing is almost non existent in Tier1 and everyone just queues for scenarios from what I've seen.

Just started playing FFXIV, there is lots of content, probably the most complete package at the moment and there is a free trial on their site.

for any of you interested that lineage 2 I talked about is very good around all aspects grind and pvp, heres the server im playing atm takes a while to get all your gear sorted but plenty of guides around the internet to help you with whatever you need they have lots of custom items and have been round about 6 years which is good to know there stable!
