Good txt message tones

I mean honestly, what is the point in having a ring tone that sounds exactly like everyone else.

I can understand it if everyone starts using the same type of music or type of ring tone you do, or you download a song/track/noise that everyone else uses... but the reason you change the tone is so you know it's your phone ringing.

Whenever I hear the victory fanfare from Final Fantasy VII in the office I know it's my mobile and nobody elses :)

Unfortunately both of my brothers decided to copy me and have it too, so whenever one one of our phones goes off we're all scrambling round to check =/

Anywhere else I get geeks grinning at me.

I had the Codec bleep. :)

Recognisable enough that any fans get it straight away, but subtle enough that everyone else thinks it's just a standard ringtone. :p
 
I can't change the text tone on my phone... :(

I really want the spotted or codec noise from MGS as a text alert to go with the FF7 fanfare as my ring tone :)

Oh and the "You have new text message!" Borat one always makes me laugh... :o

Yoda's "New text message you have!" thingy is kinda quirky... :o

my phone makes that noise that all police cars make when they turn up in American movies. Something along the lines of "ten twenty eight niner".
 
I used to have a little guy saying message getting louder till he started screaming it. I want that again.

Any good places to get them from?
 
My text message tone is the codec call from MGS.

My ringtone is Sonic & Knuckles - Flying Battery Zone Act 2. Gotta love it when someone phones me :D
