Goodbye 4T5

I don't post much on these forums as you can see. I do read a lot and have been around for a long time. RIP Malc, I always enjoyed reading his posts. :(

Jeez, what a shock. He was a stand up sort of bloke and always livened up a thread. I remember taking a short absence from here (moving house etc) so I missed his name change. When I came back I was thinking 'Who the hell is this 4T5 guy?'. I only had to read a few sentences of his post to realise 'Ah... That's Malc.' :D

Sad news, and I'm not surprised Frank followed him. Loyal pals together again. Donation made to the JG page, just a shame it can't bring him back. :( RIP.

Wow, just seen this. Terrible news :(

Thanks for setting up the just giving page, a worthy cause that I have personal experience of.

I have received an email from a fundraising co-ordinator for The Air Ambulance service:

Hi Tom

Thank you so much for choosing to fundraise for The Air Ambulance Service in memory of 4T5.

Please let me know if I can do anything to assist in your fundraising efforts

All the best

Janine

I have replied saying that the decision was made by Malc's family and friends and that I would pass on her thanks, and that I would put the question to the community as to if we wanted to do anything to fund-raise in his memory, but for the time being it is just a friendly passing of the hat as it were.

Any thoughts on this? I think a bike ride to raise money in his memory could prove popular among members on here, though I'm not sure of peoples feelings on this.

Perhaps it should remain a peaceful and friendly donation pot for those who knew him to contribute to if they wish?

I will 'hand-over' the fundraising reigns to someone who actually rides if we decide to do something, as it wouldn't make sense for me to be 'in charge' anymore. :)

RIP Malc, my thoughts go out to your family.

I've known Malc for just over 10 years but never actually met him! We met playing in a clan for the original COD.

Just out of curiosity, what was his name in COD? I remember playing with someone called Malc who rode motorbikes... I was in Cbt Ops. I hope this isn't the same guy :(
