Goodbye and good riddance!

I like stockhausen's posts. The only time I worry about them is when I agree with him. Then I know there's something to worry about.

Meh. I wish everyone would stop ganging up on Stockhausen like they are. It's not hard to just accept that he has his own views that you may disagree with. His threads are still politically relevant and are there to provoke discussion on current affairs.

If he offends you that much just put him on your ignore list or don't go into his threads.
He doesn't need to post 10 threads about the same event and ongoing saga at every new turn.

It's just ridiculous now, and I have no idea why the mods don't do anything about it. On anything else they're usually so hot about merging threads together.

Merging the threads is a good idea.

I think there's a technological reason for this. If all of his threads are merged into one, it creates a hotspot in the disk array. Over time this hotspot will grow uncontrollably until the whole forum is one big stockhausen thread. This will then destroy any device that tries to access said thread.

Do you think that it might have anything to do with the tendency of the usual suspects to derail every thread I start with the predictable "lolstockhausen"? . . . Just a thought.

In fact you are one of the main culprits. If you don't like my threads then "Jog on". I will manage to get over the disappointment . . . in fact, with the aid of the magical ignore option and a wee bit of discernment on my part, I probably wouldn't even notice your absence.

No, no, I'm sure that couldn't be it . . . could it

Yes, it ******* well is!

To be fair Stockhausen, he does have a point. This is one long-running and constantly unfolding story, so it could have had it's own "News International hacking scandal" thread.

Is it all going pear-shaped for Murdoch in the USA now?

I understand that the ex-owners of the Wall St Journal would never have sold out to Murdoch if they had known what he was / still is. A bit late to carry out due diligence now folks

Following suggestions that people associated with NewsCorp may have hacked the mobile 'phones of people caught in the Twin Towers on September 11th 2001, I understand that two American senators are now calling for a legal investigation into whether NewsCorp broke any American laws over phone-hacking.
