It's annoying that regardless of how fast a car is, you get used to it. Trick is to have a second car which is very very slow.
It's subtle, pretty much drowned out by the growling V8 thunder

Initial impressions -
launching from traffic lights is most amusing, although needs to be dry to stop the traction control having a fit!
the tiptronic works quite nicely, its never going to be a b-road blaster, but its still good fun and makes a bit of a change from full auto mode.
steering is a bit disappointing, not much feel at all, but can't expect everything.
for the journey back, M4 into London, it proved itself already as an excellent choice for both motorway work and London traffic. stop-start traffic is so much less hassle in an auto, and the massage seats are handy too!
as stated, V8 noise overpowers the supercharged, but its just enough to be heard, but not annoying on the motorway etc.
now just reading through the manuals, working out what buttons I have missed so far etc.!

not yet, been out all day picking it up / driving it around. going out this evening in 5 mins.
hopefully tomorrow, although learning the toys is a priority.
just been over to visit a friend and further observations are that powersliding without an LSD is a bit trickier and will require some work, although the torque helps getting things started. 50mph in 1st also fun!
