I have a distribution group set up in google apps for a domain I manage. If I send mail to it in the TO: field then it arrives to all recipients that it's supposed to, but if you put in the the CC: field it doesn't arrive. There's nothing in the spam box either.

Any ideas?

Suggestions to what forum this fits into is also welcome :p

That's very weird indeed, I have 2 of my domains set up with google apps and they work fine. Just tested the cc bit as well.
Have you checked all the settings in the control panel. I would start right again tbh as going through the settings will be pain to try to see the issue.

Update: it seems as though the distribution group only works outside of the domain. If you send internally it doesn't work.

That's a bit rubbish is it not? :)

What I meant earlier was who currently looks after your domains MX records? Usually there is some way of message tracking via a web GUI or actually on the mail server itself. Would have been a way of telling what exactly was going on with the delivery of the mail.

I haven't worked with any domains managed by Google but I would assume there is a similar service?

I guess you might have to pay extra for it? I don't know :p

There really isn't much in the way of settings on that side, bit of a downside but pretty good what you can do.
I would go through the set up wizard again from the start and redo the settings as I've run through all the settings here and cant see anything glaringly obvious that would stop that.
