On the log in page for Google Mail the storage space for email accounts is constantly increasing by a few bytes a second. Why is that?
Same here. Partly to keep things organised but also because I don't like the idea of having so much personal information sitting in one potentially insecure location.i still delete mail when i'm done with it. can't see the point in keeping it even if space isn't an issue.

Same, although recently I have been utilising the space by using "Gmail Space" firefox extension, it allows you to use your gmail inbox as web storage, for backing up files etc.

Hasn't it always done that? I remember when gmail first appeared the figures kept climbing.
