Google Music

Google Music All access has been flawless for me. Love it. Been over to peoples houses, logged into my Google account, played my tunes, they look up whatever they want on it. Easy peasy. Worked a charm going home with a random on the weekend!

This raises a potential feature. GMusic should have a "Party mode" login which makes it not possible to sign in to other Google services without entering a password first.

Has anyone else tried the new 'I'm feeling lucky radio'. I gave it a try this morning and was surprised at just how bad a job it did, I thought it would know my tastes having been using it quite a lot but it didn't manage to play anything I liked, well apart from a few songs that were in my library.

Just started uploading my collection to Google yesterday, Im doing it in stages so I can keep an eye on the tagging.
Im presuming that it converts my songs from FLAC to mp3? Ideally Id prefer it not to, but for a free service Im not going to complain.
Are there any tools to correct the tagging? I have a few albums where the album art has been picked up and I can see it when in Albums view, but If I switch to Artist view I have a grey box above the artist name and I cant see how to add a pic?
This is only the artist view, the album view is fine...

Whats better, this or spotify?

Google Music, by a million miles for me.

I was a premium Spotify user and 99% of my usage was on mobile and it was just an unpleasant experience.

I kept receiving error messages, proclaiming that I didn't have a working Internet connection despite all other apps connecting to the Internet just fine.

Secondly, Spotify (I'm not sure if they've added this since I've left) doesn't have a tablet interface, which frankly, is a joke considering how established they are.

Hey guys,
Just discovered that Google Music finally has an auto suggest feature. It will auto suggest the correct album art/info and stuff which is awesome, but I have to do it one at a time.
Is there a way to make it go through my whole library?

Whats the selection of music like compared?

Also I had most of my music synced so all it needed to do was phone home checks I imagine every once in a while to check I was still premium

Anyone else not able to login to the Desktop Music Manager app since the last Chrome update??

Everything else seems to be working and logged in! But the Music Manager fails at the 2step verification.

I've changed my password (just in case) and it still won't login!!

I can access my music on my PC via chrome, and on both Phone and Tablet via the app! But the Manager won't login so uploading music is not as easy!!

I always thought that the Spotify experience on mobile was rubbish. To save music offline you have to save an album as a playlist, then download that. To access your offline music You're just presented with a long list of your downloaded playlists. No artist/genre filter like you would expect.

Having said that Spotify is a bit more open and there's the apps you can get along with the better social aspects. Hopefully Google will catch up in that respect.

I prefer spotify on my PC and Google music on my Phone. Spotify has a better EDM catalogue too. On the other hand, on phones, Google music downloads and caches 20 random songs that you may never have heard of so that regardless of signal you can have an hour or so of radio.

Is there anyway to show my Artists as simple list, rather than as a grid? Also, can I order by Artist, rather than Album Artist? All my iTunes music with Various Artists are put under one Artist. It's really annoying.

Thanks.
