Was for me 7hrs ago when Amazon's preorder was first posted on here, and same again for me half an hour ago.

If we do not get a launch tonite, I can only image that demand is so high and supplies are so short that Google and Moto do not want to aggravate the demand situation while their partners, the carriers, are filling orders with existing stock.
Rather than launching with an extended (and seemingly uncertain) delivery date, Google may be concluding, let's wait until supplies are more plentiful. If we have to keep the unhelpful "coming soon" on the Play Store, that is better than promising with an order and failing to deliver in a reasonable time.
Frustrating I know! I do want the Google Music free option for 6 months and the Play Store I believe is the only source for that. If I like the Music option I will continue.
