Google Pixel 5

Is it only me that finds the naming of the new phones weird?

Pixel 4 was last year. Yet Pixel 4a only launched recently. They're now following it up with Pixel 4a 5G, which is more like a cut down version of Pixel 5 than a 5G version of Pixel 4a. It's just... odd.

I have a cracked 3XL which I love and hate anything other than stock Android. Checking the difference between the CPUs, it's the GPU side that suffers the most. I seldom game on my phone so I might not miss the extra power vs having a more efficient phone. I might miss the .3 of an inch screen wise however.

Contract is up in November and will likely buy outright if there's any offers due around then.

The headphones so work out a pretty sweet deal I think especially for the 4a5g. I don't need them, might flog them, but will see how they are, I have the in ear versions for plane travel (do long haul for work, or at least was doing before covid) the over ears might work out more comfortable, or maybe just good for TV watching at night.

Was tempted by this but no telephoto is a deal breaker. What are the alternatives for similar price/specs but with wide angle and telephoto camera? I don't need top hardware specs
