Vivo X70Pro+ uses the same Samsung sensor iirc and likely to use the same binning.
Just for note the Honor Magic Pro plus has a larger sensor but not as large as the Sharp R6/Lecia Leitz phone. Of course the Pixel will be the wiser choice unless you like going against the grain.
Yeah Ben's usually one of the first Youtubers to show these emerging Chinese flagships first (to a Western audience anyway). I think he sources them from Trinityelectric.
It's nearly always a trade off really, these Chinese phones have the technical edge and the Swiss army approach to lenses but they usually lack the large imaging teams or expertise to compete against Google/Apple and they're post processing algorithms.
Incidentally the Chinese version of the x70proplus can be had for about £7-800 but its reported the UK model may well be over £1000 which doesn't help its cause.Huawei are still lurking in the background with superb imaging as normal, P50pro, Mate 50 etc. Just a shame about the Google ban still being in place. Honor is Huawei too more or less.
Pixel 6 Pro will be the one to get I think though.
Gorilla Glass Victus, pretty scratch resistant so could get away without using a screen protector.
Disappointing if true but then 5 years OS updates was just rumour I assume? It doesn't say on the 6 page but on the 6 Pro it confirms the 5 years of security updates. I have a feeling the last couple of years may not be OS updates in that case...
Victus is a lot more drop resistant but apparently a lot easier to scratch.

Pretty much. Scratches at a level 6 with deeper groves at a level 7. Then again apples ceramic shield or what ever the call it seems to scratch less compared to gorilla glassits all BS with the gorilla stuff, its basics... if its glass its glass and if it comes in contact with something stronger and sharper then it will mark.
