Google Pixel 6/6 Pro

Update has rolled out....interestingly it installed on mine then said "Device will not restart until 10th of July and certain criteria are met" but still able to restart.

I've now had a message on stating "Battery replacement recommended due to....." and then the reasons why we already know. I'll see how things go.

I have 3 Pixel 6's in the house and the update is not available atm. But my 8 pro is updating now. Strange.

Decided to send my 6a into cex on the off chance fully expecting it to be returned but it was tested and payment was made surprised but happy days.

I did wonder if that would be the case - probably did it at the right time, as now it constantly displays "Battery needs replacing" so suspect they'd reject it after the recent update!
 
I took the £71

people were saying that you can only get a 9a with the credit, and that it doesn't apply any existing discount if you are using the credit, so would have knocked £40 off a new phone = meh

my phone had about 7 hours to charge (from about 40%?) and was only at 88% this morning so a bit rubbish now

Also had to set up an annoying account to get the funds, but all done and paid to my bank within an hour or two

So his why my 6a was burning my hand yesterday.. not sure what phone to buy now? was looking at pixel 9a or the nothing 3a?
