Google Pixel 6/6 Pro

That's great thanks guys, will give those suggestions a try. I bought mum a cheap honor x6b phone to tide her over and have an appt at ismash on Friday as the ebay seller is not willing to help with anything, no surprise there.

Just a random one guys , not sure if anyone can help.

I bought a pixel 6 for mum from Ebay at Christmas and it was described as excellent condition ex display unit and to be fair it was in perfect nick brand new practically.

Mum let it drain to 0% few days ago and it shut off, since then it refuses to charge, turn on or anything. It's basically dead.

I've tried pretty much everything I've read on the internet, different chargers, multiple different button combinations, leaving it charged for hours etc but it still refuses to do anything.

Could it be a case of the battery being totally fried? Or something more serious like motherboard?

I don't mind bringing it to ismash to get a new battery put in if that's what will fix it. I've messaged the Ebay fella but no response yet.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any help.
Took the phone to Ismash and the repair guy confirmed that the logic board is dead. He tried sticking in a new battery and nothing, says that the voltage jumps to 1.4 to 0 and back and forth.

Pretty ****** as I bought this from Ebay business seller listed as new condition- ex display for Xmas, it listed no warranty just the usual 30 day ebay guarantee and now the seller is ignoring me, even though he is a pretty big seller with 11k feedback and registered since 2002.

Wondering is there anything I can do? Surely a phone listed as new condition should be expected to work longer than just under 3 months.

Anyone any advice? Thanks a lot!

Bought mum a cheap honor x6b in the mean time and she's happy enough with that.

Thanks mate, have started a paypal report as the seller is completely ignoring me. Will see how it goes! Thanks for the help.

Probably better doing it via Ebay (Resolution Centre) instead of Paypal, Ebay and Paypal are now totally different companies.
Paypal these days are only the payment handler and you will probably find that they'll do nothing (as they did for me in a similar case last Nov).

I then raised the case with Ebay and got resolved there pretty well actually.
