Google Pixel 9 Series (9/9 Pro/9 Pro XL/9 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 3)

So I picked up a Pixel 9 256GB for £505 the other week, I’ve not opened yet…
rolling monthly sim plan is £166 for 24 months.

I’ve noticed a deal on the 9 pro 256GB on a 24 month contract £763, so basically just under £100 quid for the pro model.

Tempted send the 9 back and get the pro for the telephoto lens, although I am not a massive fan of contracts and it’s ID mobile.

I was in on that deal and I got a fold and a mad trade in for s24 that I bought for 280 and got offered 914 for.

That's not my point. There was no stackable 2x 25% codes.
 
I was very tempted with the fold as I can get a good discount via work. However I think the lower camera capability is the thing that put me off. I do want to scratch that itch of a foldable. And other than the camera it seems like a perfect fit.

Run this by me again.

£200 trade-in (what phone was traded in) but then another £245 P8 trade-in?! I thought you could only apply 1 discount and 1 trade-in per order.

Just before Black Friday they had a promo where they were giving extra on trade-ins. So, normally my P8 would be £245, but they gave me £200 extra. Then, there was a 30% promo at the same time, so I sent my P8 to them and paid £255 (or was it £245... I forget which now) for the P9 Pro. It was talked about quite a lot in this thread...

e: just clocked the P8 trade-in was only £245! I got £317 for my P6 for the P9 Pro, so perhaps they ballsed up the initial offer.

Yep. I could have got the P9 Pro after discount and trade in for about £249. Was crazy
 
Sorely tempted to get a pixel 9 pro XL. Currently using an iPhone 14 Pro Max and keen to get away from the apple eco system. Camera is obviously a big thing and I’m intrigued by the AI integration. Anything to concern about? Appreciate the 10 is probably coming out later this year. I’ve no dramas with upgrading if it’s worthwhile.
 
669 trade in for my iPhone 15 Pro with the 25% would cost £80 to swap to P9 Pro. 10% Google one credit too.

I don’t need the Pro, so I’d probably go P9 with added care, for £43 after trade in and £60 of store credit


Or remove the care, get an additional £65 store credit and use the £120 total credit to buy care and a case.

I was close to switching back recently but my wife put her foot down and refused to move shared calendars back to Google. I wouldn’t be able to message my son on his iPad anymore either.

Yeah no complaints, just wish it had faster wireless charging lol and that Google released a better wireless charger.

I expect the £317 for a Pixel 6 has some kind of offer/promo on it. I don't think it would normally be that much. (A look at recycling comparisons suggests it is worth about £70)
