I have influenced my daughter in the ways of 'METAL' started off slow with Wayne's World even more so as she thinks I look like him, then I proceeded with 'METAL' in the car along with such classics on video like Spinal Tap and Bad News. I took her to see Vampires Rock which is a show based on vampires and rock music. Then to top it off I took her to see Motorhead and we are going to see Iron Maiden in August. I now have a fully fledged 'METAL' head daughter \m/

My 3 year old boy loves Warriors of Genghis Khan but I'm not sure I want him singing "Burning, looting, raping and a shooting" when he goes to nursery school later this year.

I am fortunate to have two very young siblings, one is a 5yr lad, the other a 7yr old girl.

Just to UPDATE you:

I'm sat with the little ones watching Goonies. They tell me they have watched it at least 12 times since the first time they were introduced. They can now recite much of the dialogue off memory. I'm so proud.

Not had chance, this is my first time back home with them since me introducing them to Goonies. Looking at my OP it appears that was 16 days ago. If they are correct in watching 12 times then that's a dam good effort. Actually it was the lad who demanded Goonies again and the girl sighed and exclaimed "AGAIN!?!?.... oh ok"

Rest assured I have BTTF box set of Blu-ray awaiting!

This is a great idea but please make sure they watch/listen to stuff that comes out now as well, otherwise they will find it hard to get on at school when talking to friends about films and music.
