Haven't got any at 4k as I was shooting at 720 and 1080 for the higher frames today. But here are some shot which were taken in the afternoon when the sun was starting to become very low!

What I'm most impressed with so far is the wifi remote (massive help!), the wind noise is reduce significantly from the previous versions. Still to try out a few features, but im eager to see what it's like at night with a small light for reference as I'm hoping to capture the northern lights with it in December when I go to Iceland

What would I use to upload them at full res? They are uploaded to my Photobucket account, but not sure if they reduce the res...

Any chance of a video on youtube in 1080p?

Need to get some editing software first. The new Black edition has a protune feature which is supposed to get the most out of the setting, but the videos looked washed out in raw format.

Will upload a couple when I get my hands on CS6

They're coming into the forum at 1024*768, at 12mp they should be more like 4000*3000.

Not sure how to get one posted, any chance you could email the original of the exhaust pipe (email in trust).

How long did it take to come after you pressed the order button?

If I was to say order it right now would it arrive by Friday do you reckon?

It's on pre-order still in the UK. Not for release until 29th November

I ordered it from the US website on the 22nd October. But it wasn't released until the 14th November. It arrived on the 16th, not bad delivery time to be honest .

EDIT: The US site now has a expected release date of the 30th November so no chance of it arriving for this Friday

Got one of the exhaust on my car. Just need to get my hands on some editing software to improve the washed out colours from Protune mode...

I suppose I could upload to show the raw footage with the sound quality...

Have told my friend who is after a black edition. Unfortunately I couldn't wait until the end of December as I needed it for when I go away on holiday on the 5th.

I have found a cheaper price £252 with a good exchange rate from the US. That includes delivery, but you may get stung at customs, so the Evans is a safer bet for sure.

Evans have made a huge mistake here. I would suggest everyone hurries up and places there orders before they realise what they've done!!

Tested night time tonight, and it's brilliant!

The footage is a little grainy, but I think that is because I had the wrong settings on. So I'm going to take another video with different settings to find the optimal night time set up!! But this has made me very happy, as this was one of the main reasons I got the Hero 3

What are you shooting that is very dark?

Just my street, which has a few streetlights. I took it out in the car too which was more impressive as I used spot light which seemed to pick up all the light from the headlights.

Sorry, I thought you were the person who wanted it purely for shooting in very dark conditions.

I'm hoping it may be able to capture the Northern lights when I go in December. And after the test run I did the other night it's improved my hopes is all I am saying...

Yeh I've got cineform, but it's not working properly, seems to be crashing when I try to extract the file after it's been converted and I've adjusted the filters etc.

Getting the GoPro has just made me want to get a mac even more. Final Cut Pro does look amazing tbh.

First video from the GoPro Hero3 Black Edition. I haven't done any editing. I'm really impressed with the audio quality, I remember doing something similar to this with my Hero 1 and it was just full of wind noise!!!

Charger is £15 on its own so £11 for 2 batteries is good even if they last a year!

Just went for the battery in the end. Don't really need the charger, however it would be nice I guess, so you can use the GoPro while other batteries are charging. Nevermind, maybe if I ever need more than 2 batteries I will look at that package

Oh, I found a few reviews myself, and the Wasabi brand is loved by lots of people! Especially Samsung owners I found, and some claim that this battery will last longer than the standard GoPro battery!!!
