Gordon Ramsay your views?

I personally think he's hilarious. He cant stop turning his head and waving his hands when talking to a camera though lol.

Good chef, he has done well for himself considering his childhood.

Fake? I'm not sure, he has had a lot of help from his father in law IIRC but the kitchens and nurturing of new chefs seem to be entirely his doing.

Typical Scottish bloke with a low tolerance level for a word beginning with C that rhymes with hunts

I think he's great, he just will totally not back down to anyone(well certainly in the catering industry). So good to see he rip apart some of the idiots he does.

Great chef.

He seems to have a strange idea that shouting and swearing at people gets the best out of them though, which of course is played up for his tv stuff. If you watch any of the programmes showing someone like Michel Roux Jr at work you realise kitchens don't have to be like that.

A lot of what you see on the TV is fake and Gordon is no different. My dad got to speak to Michal Roux Jr at one of his restaurants the other week and he admitted as much.

Gordon isn't that different from most of head chef's in country expect that he's exceptionally more talented then most and having 3 michelin star reputation makes him understandably insecure hence why he gets upset when things go wrong.

Search YouTube for "boiling Point"

Amazing fly on the wall stuff.

I've seen that documentary, he comes across as very genuine in that show whereas in Hell's Kitchen it's more of performance.

Seriously, watch Boiling Point, it is an eye opener.

He’s undeniably a very talented chef....You have to be to get where he is with his reputation. I just wish he’d stop making those bloody awful shows in the US. We get it you swear at lot and you get angry when food doesn't go out on time!

The Ultimate Cookery Course he did for channel 4 last year was great, no shouting or swearing just him sharing a lot of kitchen knowledge and knowhow.
